Peggy Maher directs NASA’s Aerospace Education Services Project (AESP) for Penn State University.   She spent 4 years as an Aerospace Education Specialist for AESP at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD before taking on management of the project.  Peggy has almost 20 years experience in classroom teaching ranging from 6th grade through early college and including 20 different science and math courses in schools in Oklahoma and Texas and International Schools in England, Kenya, and Brazil.  In addition to teaching, Peggy has also worked as an Instructional Specialist, a Grant Coordinator for biotechnology outreach, a grant writer, and education consultant.  She has an M.S. in Secondary Science Curriculum and Instruction.
